Project Hidalgo
Today we completed a bathroom remodel for one of our clients located near the Los Gatos area. We were not able to capture "before" photos prior to demolition, however we were able to capture the final result posted below. This remodel required a complete renovation from floor to ceiling to include brand new tile, wall texture, toilet, sink, lighting, vanity and more. We are especially pleased with how the shower turned out, and our client could not be happier as well.

Happy Holidays!
With everything going on in our turbulent economy coupled with the loss of business we are hearing from other contractors and suppliers, we are extremely thankful to have had a productive year-end with projects currently booked through April 2009. This would not be possible without your continued support and trust in our ability to put forth quality work.
We at PortItalia Construction would like to wish you and your families a very peaceful and happy holiday season. We are looking forward to working with many of you to create an elegant environment in 2009 and beyond.

Project Ferrari
Thank you for continuing to check in with us. It has been awhile since we have had an opportunity to update our blog. It has been a very busy final quarter of the year for PortItalia, with an even busier start to the New Year ahead.

Today we finished a laundry room remodel for a referral from one of our existing clients. We renovated the laundry room to accommodate all the client's requirements, as well as add a sense of style and elegance. We applied a custom plaster on the walls and ceiling, which created an old world texture and made the room feel very unique. The walls are a Marmarino coarse grain Hc44 smooth finish. The ceiling is a Marmarino coarse grain Hc44 antico tatto finish.
There was an issue with the water softener, so we re-routed all the plumbing into the wall and that allowed all of the previously exposed plumbing to be hidden. We basically remodeled from the ground up... floors, ceiling, trim, crown moulding, granite countertops. The before and after photos below speak for themselves.

Project Morello
Today we completed a weekend project for a copper re-pipe to new water main. The original pipes dated back 46 years to 1962. They were completely corroded on the insides, as seen in the photos below. To complete the project and further improve existing conditions, we also installed 9 new sprinkler heads to the front lawn.
Here is the final result of the copper re-pipe installation. Clean flowing water!

Project Ulmer
Today we began a new project for a stucco fence rebuild in Almaden Valley. The fence was over 20 years old and had serious damage around all four sides of the perimeter. The stucco was buckling under from the bottom and leaning over into each neighbors yard. Below are some of the before photos as well as some demolition. This project is scheduled to be completed mid-September. Final result photos will be posted by then.
