Project Newman

Project Newman was a for a client in the heart of Willow Glen who was looking for a complete floor to ceiling kitchen remodel. We worked together for several weeks to plan the detailed renovation prior to breaking ground. This required the involvement of a structural engineer to strategically remove a wall in the kitchen that supported the second floor of the home. It was crucial that this particular wall be removed in order to significantly open up the space. The final design included architectural elements on the ceiling, reframing another wall to accommodate new custom bay window above sink, and also custom tile design work for the backsplash. For a final touch, we repainted the dining room that is adjacent to the kitchen.

Project Keng - FINAL

We recently wrapped up a project for a client in San Jose who found us on Yelp while searching for a general contractor with great reviews. She was looking to have her hall closets converted to a fully functional laundry area. We completed the following for her:

- Removed in-wall furnace
- Rerouted dryer vent
- Rerouted water and drain pipes
- Installed in-wall box with water hammers
- Custom cabinetry
- Installed appliances

Project Updates for Jan/Feb 2011

We hit the ground running at the turn of the New Year! The month of January was extremely productive and is nearly behind us. We are currently working on the following projects throughout the South Bay and gearing for more:

Recently passed final inspections for new kitchen.

- PROJECT POLLOCK (South San Jose):
Guest bathroom remodel to be wrapped up within 2 weeks.

- PROJECT WEAVER (Sunnyvale):
Master bathroom remodel to be wrapped up within 2 weeks.

- PROJECT WILLIAMS (Campbell):
Master bathroom remodel to be wrapped up within 2 weeks.

Project Newman

On November 1, 2010, we started a kitchen remodel in Willow Glen known as Project Newman. This project has entailed floor to ceiling renovations, wall removal, and structural beam installation to support the 2nd floor above the kitchen. The remodel will be complete in the next few weeks. Here are a few before and progress photos.

And Summer Begins...

We have been non-stop productive in many areas, on many projects. This week in particular has brought us closer to wrapping up a few projects and beginning a new major remodel.

Project Brossmer in Santa Cruz will be completed tomorrow. This project included a custom slate shower outdoors. Our client requested an outdoor shower for easy clean up after surfing the waves. We were happy to deliver and complete the project on time.

Project Jacksich in the Cambrian area of San Jose is nearly complete. We finished installing the tile in the bathroom and will be completely wrapped up next week.

Project Ferrari, also in the Cambrian area of San Jose, is well underway. We completed the service panel upgrade this week, along with the plumbing for both the kitchen and adjacent laundry room. Recessed lighting in is progress today.

Plentiful Projects

Here we are on the brink of entering a new season = Summertime. The weather is changing, and so is our workload. We are going from busy to busier! We currently have Project Jasksich in the Cambrian area in progress (Full Bathroom Remodel). We have Project Penhardt in downtown San Jose in progress (Full Bath Remodel, Interior Retexture/Paint, Exterior Paint, New Roof, Windows). We have just begun Project Denham in the Rose Garden area of San Jose (Extensive Landscaping, Outdoor Structure Design, Staining of wood shingle siding, Painting of house). We are also beginning the design phase for a brand new Kitchen, Living Room, Family Room, and Dining Room with Project Ferrari.

This week we completed the Project Clarke Master Bathroom with sign-off by city inspectors. Below are the final photos of the transformation.
